Role Summary
The Brand Marketing Director, Lifestyle leads the development and execution of Saucony’s lifestyle brand strategy across global markets. From insights to activation, this role oversees full-funnel programs, ensures creative and channel consistency, partners closely with cross-functional teams, and manages a team of marketers to deliver against brand and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own marketing for the lifestyle category; develop insight-led brand strategies that drive growth.
- Build and execute full-funnel integrated consumer programs—from brief through post-launch analysis.
- Partner with internal teams and external agencies; lead cross-functional planning and execution to align with brand goals.
- Analyze performance data, extract insights, and optimize plans for continuous improvement and impact.
- Collaborate closely with product, media, PR, and account teams to reach key consumers with consistent creative across markets.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of junior marketers; elevate marketing competencies and outputs.
- Maintain deep understanding of consumers, category, competition, and trends; convert insights into opportunities with Consumer Insights partnership.
- Develop seasonal sell-in and sell-through materials for global product marketing stories.
- Oversee calendars, timelines, and budgets; define seasonal cadence and regional marketing share-outs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; 8+ years in marketing with strong brand-building expertise.
- Proven track record leading insight-driven, integrated campaigns across the funnel.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; balances imagination with disciplined execution in fast-paced settings.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior and trends; sporting goods/footwear/lifestyle experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership and influence skills; adept at cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders.
- Analytical, data-fluent communicator who translates insights into action and clear recommendations.
- Comfortable driving change; team-first mindset and strong written and public-speaking skills.
Compensation, Work Model, And Location
- Salary Range: $140,554–$173,821 USD, commensurate with experience.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Location: Rockford, MI; hybrid schedule (three days in office, two days remote).
- Work Environment: Normal office setting; travel may be required.
