Webster Bank is hiring a Manager, Digital Marketing Channels to lead multichannel programs that drive acquisition, cross-sell, upsell, and retention. This remote, full-time role owns strategy, execution, measurement, and optimization across SMS, Paid Media, and Email—partnering closely with internal teams and external agencies. It’s an opportunity to launch and scale Webster’s SMS channel while continuously improving performance with rigorous testing and analytics.

Role Summary
The Manager, Digital Marketing Channels leads end-to-end channel strategy for SMS, Paid Media, and Email, with responsibility for governance, execution, and performance. You will establish KPIs, run A/B tests, and use analytics to optimize messaging, targeting, and journeys. Success requires hands-on marketing technology experience—Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Search Ads 360, Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and SMS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Twilio, Iterable)—plus strong cross-functional collaboration and compliance alignment.
- Lead strategy, execution, and optimization for SMS, Paid Media, and Email programs.
- Own the SMS launch: use cases, journey design, content strategy, and data/tech integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide channel governance and apply best practices across tools and platforms.
- Define KPIs and build dashboards to monitor channel health and campaign impact.
- Run A/B tests and use customer insights to refine targeting, creative, and timing.
- Track channel performance, synthesize results, and deliver insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, UTMs) and attribution to optimize spend and conversion.
- Partner with agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams to plan and execute campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with legal, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CAN-SPAM).
Ideal Profile
- Advanced degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required. Equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years managing B2C and B2B multichannel marketing with emphasis on SMS, email, and paid media.
- 2+ years with Martech platforms: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Ads, SA360, CM360, GA, GTM, and SMS platforms.
- Highly analytical; experienced in data-driven campaigns and multi-touch attribution.
- Strong understanding of channel operations, journey design, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with audience creation, segmentation, and list management preferred.
- Comfortable collaborating with external agencies for planning and execution.
- Proficient in project management; strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Compensation And Location
This is a full-time, remote role. The estimated salary range is $106,000–$122,000 USD, with eligibility for incentive compensation. Actual pay may vary based on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
