Role Summary

The Account Coordinator is the backbone of client teams—maintaining account infrastructure, supporting media and social programs, and contributing research and reporting. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and clients, build foundational skills across communications disciplines, and help keep programs running smoothly with measurable results.

  • Job Type: Full-time, hybrid (Boston office presence at least twice per week, based on team and client needs)
  • Level: Entry-level

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor news, coverage, and trends across client industries.
  • Maintain account infrastructure, including trackers, media lists, awards/speaking databases, and measurement reports.
  • Draft and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and action items with strong attention to detail.
  • Conduct industry, competitor, and media research to inform strategy and uncover opportunities.
  • Support media relations with list building, prep materials, and select pitching outreach.
  • Assist social programs through copy development, social listening, and performance measurement.
  • Support additional tasks as needed to meet client and team goals.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, or related field.
  • Relevant internships in PR/communications; agency and/or B2B tech experience preferred.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication; adaptable tone and style across formats.
  • Strong organization, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows; familiarity with MuckRack is a plus.
  • Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation And Location

Expected base salary is $49,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Boston, MA, with in-office presence at least twice per week as needed. Occasional day and overnight travel may be required for client and V2 purposes.
