Role Summary

As Content Marketing Manager, you will plan, create, edit, and optimize content that attracts and converts a B2B audience across industries such as legal, technology, life sciences, and finance. You’ll apply SEO best practices, leverage data-driven insights, and collaborate with product marketing, sales, web, and design to deliver cohesive campaigns. A strong editorial eye and the ability to turn technical features into customer-focused benefits are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content marketing campaigns that drive leads and subscribers.
  • Apply SEO best practices to grow qualified organic traffic and improve rankings.
  • Write and edit blog posts, white papers, web copy, product descriptions, digital ads, emails, and social content.
  • Convert technical content into clear, approachable copy tailored to target personas.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, Web, and Design on integrated content initiatives.
  • Align content with product positioning; translate features into differentiated, benefit-led messaging.
  • Manage and grow the company blog; pitch thought leadership to relevant third-party platforms.
  • Analyze campaign performance and report results with actionable recommendations.
  • Incorporate client and prospect feedback into content plans and sales enablement assets.
  • Monitor a shared mailbox to gather, document, and synthesize customer feedback for continuous improvement.

Ideal Profile

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3–4 years of experience in B2B digital content development and strategy.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and cross-functional collaboration skills; detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field; strong writing portfolio.
  • Experience writing for a B2B audience across multiple industries and formats.
  • Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and web analytics; familiarity with AI search considerations is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM and/or content management systems; WordPress, Weebly, or Joomla! preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences; self-driven, able to manage multiple projects.
