Role Summary
You will partner with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Digital Content teams to develop concepts and copy for integrated campaigns and social media. The work moves at the speed of social, requiring attention to detail, organized delivery, and the ability to incorporate feedback with minimal oversight. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential, with the range to write authentically in English, Spanish, and Spanglish. The team welcomes applicants who identify as Latino and can bring a personal point of view and voice aligned to each brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Be fluent in English and Spanish.
- Deliver efficient, engaging copy that drives audience action and connection.
- Develop taglines and concise articulations of campaign ideas.
- Balance product messaging, real-time trends, and seasonal themes in social copy and captions.
- Develop scripts and concepts for social posts that tap into trends while staying on-brand.
- Collaborate on decks and presentations for pitches and internal reviews.
- Establish brand tones and maintain consistency across touchpoints.
- Contribute ideas that work across multiple media channels and formats.
- Maintain a pulse on social trends and themes relevant to client brands.
- Collaborate openly and rework concepts to strengthen the work.
- Solve problems by turning brand challenges into opportunities.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Track work and edits efficiently and independently.
- Demonstrate passion for words and the craft of narrative storytelling.
- Switch nimbly between distinct brand voices and tones.
- Adapt writing for different audiences and platforms.
- Show a range of styles suitable for a variety of brands and categories.
- Take direction and pivot when priorities change.
- Deliver organized, clearly labeled copy for all stakeholders.
Ideal Profile
- 4+ years of experience as a creative copywriter.
- Creative agency background.
- Up-to-date on social media trends and platform functionality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Keynote and Google Suite.
- Nice to have: Awards submission experience.
Compensation, Location, And Employment Type
Salary range: $95,000–$115,000 USD. Actual offer may vary by market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Huntington Beach, CA. All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
