Role Summary
The Social Media Coordinator executes the daily content plan for UFC’s official social accounts, from concept through publishing. You will draft copy, edit video, schedule posts, and provide both on-site and remote coverage around live events. The role also supports analytics reporting, community management, and experimentation on emerging platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day posting across UFC social accounts.
- Manage creative requests, asset delivery, and approvals.
- Write, edit, and publish content for Facebook, Instagram, X, and Threads.
- Edit short-form video tailored to platform best practices.
- Deliver on-site and remote coverage for live UFC events.
- Maintain the social calendar and optimize posting cadence.
- Use analytics tools to report on KPIs and identify trends.
- Execute community management and track fan sentiment.
- Support growth on emerging and evolving social platforms.
- Assist on additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Two years of social media experience with a sports property preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects preferred.
- Demonstrable short-form video editing for social platforms is a plus.
- Journalism background and MMA/UFC knowledge preferred.
- Experience with social analytics tools; strong Excel skills for reporting.
- Comfort working nights, weekends, and holidays for live events.
- Positive attitude and ability to handle a fast-paced schedule.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Compensation And Location
- Location: Las Vegas, NV.
- Compensation: $36,016–$42,486 USD (salary range provided by employer).
- Schedule: Aligned with UFC’s live event calendar, including nights/weekends/holidays.
