Role Summary
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Marketing will lead a sales-aligned marketing strategy that equips reps with effective collateral and tools, advances account-based marketing (ABM), and elevates TruTechnologies’ voice in the market. Success requires deep SaaS expertise, clear enablement priorities, and rigorous measurement of marketing’s impact on revenue outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Align marketing and sales through joint goals, tight feedback loops, and ongoing collaboration with leadership and reps.
- Lead sales enablement: audit gaps, create collateral, and deploy tools that accelerate the sales cycle.
- Design and run ABM programs with personalized content and activities for high-value accounts; measure account engagement and growth.
- Develop thought leadership themes; oversee white papers, case studies, presentations, and competitive analyses that sellers can use.
- Activate influencer marketing to expand reach and support qualified pipeline in partnership with sales.
- Execute a media strategy across earned and paid channels to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Define KPIs tied to sales utilization, account engagement, and cycle time; track and report impact to stakeholders.
- Provide market education assets: training materials, FAQs, competitive positioning, and event support with sales involvement.
- Oversee sales content and tools: maintain organized repositories and evaluate enablement platforms for accessibility and adoption.
- Manage the marketing budget with priority on enablement and key account engagement.
- Build and mentor a team focused on sales enablement and consistent brand messaging.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–7+ years in SaaS marketing with significant focus on sales enablement and ABM.
- Demonstrated success aligning marketing initiatives to sales goals and revenue impact.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and content needs across the funnel.
- Hands-on ABM experience in close collaboration with account teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving strengths; able to interpret sales data to find opportunities.
- Experience building and managing marketing teams focused on enablement.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills for sales-facing content; proactive and results-oriented.
