Trupanion is hiring a seasoned ecommerce leader to build and scale a digital growth engine for its pet medical insurance business. Role Summary

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Vice President of Ecommerce will define and execute the company’s digital strategy to drive online pet growth and enhance the digital experience. You’ll lead channel evolution across SEO, SEM, email/SMS, paid media, website, and partner integrations, while building the frameworks, team, and technology that enable rapid experimentation, automation, and innovation. This full-time role is based in Seattle with a hybrid schedule (in-office at least three days per week).

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and execute a high-impact ecommerce vision aligned to long-term goals.
  • Own digital acquisition channels: SEO, SEM, email/SMS, paid media, and the website experience.
  • Oversee partner integrations and performance, including high-visibility partners such as State Farm.
  • Champion marketing technology and automation to deliver personalized journeys and maximize conversion.
  • Partner with analytics on data-driven media strategy, audience segmentation, targeting, and A/B testing.
  • Build and mentor a results-oriented team; foster a culture of innovation and experimentation.
  • Ensure alignment across brand, member experience, and value proposition on- and offline.
  • Establish operating frameworks for clarity, accountability, and consistent marketing execution.

Compensation, Benefits, And Location

Base salary range: $210,000–$240,000 (full-time). Employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses. Trupanion grants Restricted Stock Units to all new team members; new-hire grants vest over four years. This role is based in Seattle, WA, with a hybrid in-office schedule at least three days per week.
