Role Summary

Reporting to the VP of Growth, the Director will own paid social and paid search strategy, budget forecasting, and channel optimization for Thorne.com. You will manage a lean team of two and select agency partners, steward an eight-figure annual budget, and drive measurable revenue. Success requires deep fluency in attribution (GA4, MTA, MMM), experimentation, and creative strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead performance marketing across paid social, paid search, and other direct-response channels.

Allocate and forecast eight-figure budgets to hit growth and acquisition KPIs.

Manage and mentor in-house channel leads and agency partners for high performance.

Continuously optimize channel mix and spend using data-driven insights and rigorous testing.

Implement and refine attribution models leveraging GA4, platform data, MTA, MMM, and post-purchase surveys.

Own creative testing strategy, iterating on styles, hooks, narratives, and formats to improve results.

Oversee event tracking architecture; partner with Engineering to ensure accurate data and integrations.

Build personalized journeys with custom landing pages that nurture audience segments toward conversion.

Incubate and scale new channels from MVP to program level (e.g., affiliate).

Collaborate closely with Creative, Data, Engineering, Brand, and Product to accelerate growth.

Ideal Profile

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in performance marketing with a paid acquisition focus.

Direct experience driving growth for D2C/ecommerce businesses at scale.

2+ years managing teams with a track record of developing talent and performance.

Hands-on oversight of eight-figure annual budgets across multiple channels and platforms.

Advanced analytical skills in GA4, GTM, platform data analysis, and MTA solutions.

Depth in channel optimization, audience segmentation, creative testing, and bid strategy design.

Proven ability to forecast budgets and execute optimization plans tied to KPI targets.

Compensation, Benefits, And Location

Compensation: $150,000–$175,000 USD base, commensurate with experience. Employment: Full-time, remote.
