Role Summary

As Director of Growth Marketing, you will own strategy and activation across the donor journey—from awareness and consideration to lead generation and conversion. You’ll collaborate closely with account leadership, guide cross-platform execution, and serve as a client-facing lead. A strong analytical mindset is essential, as you’ll use platform analytics, Google Analytics, and CRM data to optimize programs and inform future investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop growth strategies across email, PPC/SEM, display/programmatic, remarketing, social advertising, SEO, GEO, and CRO.
  • Partner with account leadership on integrated digital roadmaps and campaign planning.
  • Train and collaborate with account teams to ensure seamless cross-platform execution and measurement.
  • Analyze performance via ad platforms, Google Analytics, and client CRM data; translate insights into optimization and testing plans.
  • Recommend new campaigns, scale proven programs, and identify upgrade opportunities; support the sales process as needed.
  • Assess and evolve creative strategy to improve relevance, response, and conversion across channels.
  • Conduct regular campaign reviews; drive immediate optimizations and long-term strategic improvements.
  • Contribute to budgets, reforecasts, annual planning, file audits, QBRs, and client presentations.
  • Serve as a key client contact for digital programs, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and channels.

Ideal Profile

  • 10+ years’ experience in digital, fundraising, and nonprofits; 6–8 years in digital marketing; agency or large national nonprofit background preferred.
  • Expertise in PPC/SEM (Google, Google Grants, Bing), display/programmatic, social advertising, SEO, GEO, and CRO.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (certification preferred); comfort with search tools and Excel.
  • Ability to articulate the value of digital and growth marketing from pitch through reporting; strong presentation skills.
  • Creative direction and copywriting capabilities; proven execution across paid search, social, and display.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen; able to derive clear actions from data.
  • Leadership experience, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and client-facing responsibilities.
  • Comfort working in small to mid-sized agency environments and scaling processes in evolving contexts.
  • Demonstrates quality, dependability, initiative, empathy, and ethics; proficient in MS Office Suite.
