Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring a full-time Product Manager in Bedford, MA to drive growth across a portfolio of bioprocess and chromatography resin products. In this office-based role with a standard Monday–Friday schedule, you’ll shape go-to-market and lifecycle strategies, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and support global sales and customers with timely, data-informed decisions.

The Product Management team partners with marketing, operations, field applications, commercial, quality, and R&D to refine strategies that grow revenue and market share. This opening sits within a small, dedicated team focused on disciplined execution from product charter through launch and ongoing optimization.
Role Summary
Apply your expertise in bioprocesses and chromatography resins to lead products throughout their lifecycle. You will guide new product development and introduction (NPDI), craft go-to-market plans, build revenue and P&L models, and create customer-facing content. The role includes establishing performance monitoring processes and providing timely support to global sales and field applications teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of new and existing products across the full lifecycle.
- Use historical data and external benchmarks to refine lifecycle strategies (NPIs, updates, rationalization, discontinuations).
- Lead NPDI processes from charter creation through successful launch.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including marketing plans and customer-facing content.
- Build revenue, profit and loss models, and track product vitality and driven performance metrics.
- Establish processes for monitoring win/loss, CAS, and other key indicators; take corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, field applications, commercial, quality, and R&D to meet growth targets.
- Support global sales and field teams; expedite customer requests related to quality or product performance.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a life science field.
- Proven experience in the life sciences bioprocess industry.
- Several years in product management or a closely related role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to convey technical value propositions to customers and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 15%.
Compensation, Schedule, And Location
- Salary Range: $88,231–$122,428 USD.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Location: Bedford, MA (Office environment).
- Work Schedule: Standard Monday–Friday.
- Travel: Up to 15%.
