The Walt Disney Imagineering Communications team is hiring an Executive Communications Manager to guide a small team and shape executive and organizational messaging. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver clear, consistent narratives across internal and external channels.

Role Summary
The Executive Communications Manager serves as a primary partner to senior leaders—translating vision and priorities into speeches, talking points, presentations, and organizational updates. You will lead planning for major communication initiatives, uphold messaging standards, mentor team members, and represent Communications in executive-level discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise senior executives on messaging, tone, and delivery across audiences.
- Develop speeches, talking points, presentations, and written communications for internal and external use.
- Own planning and execution of major initiatives; align stakeholders and functions.
- Lead recurring touchpoints with leadership to map priorities and communication needs.
- Oversee executive newsletters, announcements, and assets for brand and message consistency.
- Coordinate with creative, AV, and production teams to produce engaging content.
- Manage the communications calendar and sequencing across projects and updates.
- Review and approve deliverables for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with priorities.
- Track performance, report impact, and recommend continuous improvements.
- Represent Communications in cross-functional forums; ensure integrated messaging.
- Provide hands-on content and event support to meet deadlines as needed.
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years in communications, PR, corporate events, or related fields.
- Leadership experience guiding a small team or project group with feedback and coaching.
- Proven executive communication skills (speeches, talking points, presentations).
- Strategic planning from concept to execution aligned to business objectives.
- Exceptional writing and editing; ability to simplify complex ideas for varied audiences.
- Strong relationship building with executives and cross-functional partners.
- Organized project management across multiple priorities and deadlines; detail-oriented.
- Analytical approach to measure communication effectiveness and optimize output.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP familiarity; Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or equivalent experience.
Compensation & Location
Location: Glendale, CA. Hiring range: $113,800–$152,500 base salary per year, with actual offer dependent on factors such as location, skills, and experience.
