Role Summary

As Director, Cultural Marketing, you will develop the frameworks, playbooks, and flagship programs that put culture at the center of consumer interactions. You’ll lead NAOU partners across Category Teams, EPICS, FLM, bottlers, and national customers to deliver authentic, insight-led initiatives. The remit spans annual cultural toolkits, bespoke programs, cross-functional guidance, and capability building grounded in data and case studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop annual Cultural Marketing toolkits (e.g., Diwali, Black History Month, Lunar New Year).
  • Create bespoke programs with NAOU partners and bottlers (e.g., Essence, Premios Juventud).
  • Advise business briefs with cultural insights to strengthen major campaigns (e.g., GOATS).
  • Establish cultural guidelines and playbooks for communication, commercialization, and storytelling.
  • Champion diverse consumer voices in category and brand strategies to drive relevance and growth.
  • Identify priority growth audiences and define authentic connection points across touchpoints.
  • Advance tech adoption and tools that scale cultural marketing across the organization.
  • Build and maintain cultural insights libraries, case studies, and best-practice examples.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, systems, and routines; track multiple projects with accurate records.
  • Synthesize complex inputs; conduct desk research to surface macro/micro multicultural insights.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 8–10 years in marketing strategy, planning, or execution with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influence skills with internal and external partners.
  • Understanding of the bottling and franchise system and how to navigate it effectively.
  • Demonstrated strategy development and agile ways of working in networked teams.
  • Champion for diversity and inclusion; understands MC consumers’ impact on business outcomes.
  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping across multiple workstreams and timelines.
  • Adept at orchestrating stakeholders across platforms, processes, and governance routines.
  • Analytical thinker who integrates data, insights, and case studies into decisions and playbooks.
  • Fluency across: Social Media, Brand Strategy, UX, Design Thinking, Influencer, Audience Engagement.
  • Comfort with AI concepts, data/creative strategies, omnichannel, RGM, portfolio and system economics.

Location, Compensation & Benefits

  • Location: Atlanta, GA (NAOU).
  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Pay Range: $160,000–$186,000 USD base, depending on experience and geography.
  • Target annual incentive reference value: 30% (performance at target).
  • A full range of medical, financial, and other benefits may be offered by role.
