Role Summary
Responsibilities
- Meet sales and business development objectives; maintain accurate forecasts aligned with financial goals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts and develop new opportunities across Life Solutions markets.
- Build and sustain executive and technical relationships through proactive communication and regular customer visits.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new application projects with existing and new customers; manage opportunity pipeline by segment.
- Translate customer needs into clear requirements; coordinate with internal R&D and technical teams to deliver solutions.
- Lead account planning (ADP, KAP) and promote value propositions for each product; follow group sales and marketing processes.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and product forecasts; synthesize insights and propose actions.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts and pricing; coordinate legal reviews for NDAs, codes of conduct, and supply agreements.
- Support credit and cash collection activities and align payment terms as needed.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction (Frontline NPS) and perform other duties as required.
Ideal Profile
- BA/BS in a related technical field (engineering, chemistry, materials science); MBA a plus.
- 10+ years in specialty chemicals across business development, marketing, or technical roles with strong polymer application knowledge.
- Experience in regulated markets and the ability to educate stakeholders on technical and commercial topics.
- Clear, succinct communication; strong presentation skills; ability to influence at all levels of customer and internal organizations.
- High initiative, autonomy, and a knowledge-sharing mindset; results-driven with strong achievement orientation.
- Effective in a global matrix; maintains a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30%.
Compensation And Location
Location: Alpharetta, GA. The U.S. base salary range is $140,000–$175,000 USD. Actual compensation depends on candidate-specific factors and total compensation includes bonus and/or other incentives.
