Product Manager, Straumann Group — Andover, MA
Straumann Group is hiring a Product Manager to drive growth and profitability for its North America portfolio. If you have a track record in product marketing and cross-functional execution—and interest in esthetic dentistry and digital solutions—this role offers the opportunity to lead strategy, launches, and lifecycle performance for a pivotal product line.
Role Summary
As Product Manager, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for the Straumann brand in North America. You’ll translate customer insights and competitive intelligence into clear plans, lead cross-functional launch teams, manage vendor partnerships, monitor financial performance, and equip sales with positioning, training, and enablement tools to achieve revenue and market share goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy and define the roadmap for North America.
- Translate customer feedback into development needs; build business cases and strategic plans to drive penetration and share gains.
- Develop and execute product launch strategies; coordinate cross-functional activities and track results.
- Manage vendor relationships for third-party products and services; serve as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor key financial metrics (e.g., revenue, ASP) to ensure product profitability and performance to plan.
- Conduct customer interviews and surveys; analyze competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows and pinpoint friction areas to inform solutions and messaging.
- Provide accurate forecasts; monitor inventory levels to ensure supply availability; track sales and course-correct as needed.
- Deliver product training and develop sales enablement tools (e.g., playbooks, demos) to support effective selling.
- Create positioning and messaging for target segments; partner with marketing on campaigns that communicate value propositions.
- Lead additional strategic and operational projects as business needs evolve; collaborate closely with sales, marketing, education, training, regulatory, customer service, logistics, and global HQ teams.
- Serve as first-line support for portfolio-related inquiries and support Marketing leadership on the annual plan.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in product or brand management.
- Experience in medical devices, biosciences, or the dental industry preferred.
- Strong product marketing skills, business acumen, and an entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of ownership.
- Customer-oriented communicator with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; collaborative team player and mentor.
- Proven ability to develop business cases and marketing plans; strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
- Excellent project management skills; adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
This is a full-time role based in Andover, MA. The expected base salary range is $105,250–$129,865 USD. Benefits include competitive total compensation (with eligibility for discretionary bonuses or Performance Share Units for some positions), a 401(k) with employer match, comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage with employer contributions, and generous PTO.
