Role Summary
This is a hands-on, data-driven role focused on Search and Google Shopping within Google Ads, with exposure to Performance Max (P Max). You will own campaign setup, optimization, creative testing, budget management, and performance reporting across the client lifecycle. The team values rapid experimentation, rigorous analysis, and collaborative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on execution of Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max.
- Own daily operations: keyword research, bidding, ad creation, pacing, A/B testing, creative optimization, and geo-lift/incrementality testing.
- Evaluate and implement evolving Google Ads features (e.g., AI Max for Search, automation) with a test-and-learn approach.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting to allocate spend efficiently and maximize CPA efficiency.
- Analyze performance, synthesize insights, and present clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Build and maintain a robust experimentation roadmap across bidding, creative, audiences, and placements; scale proven winners.
- Collaborate with creative partners on copy, assets, and landing pages, with emphasis on paid search and P Max placements.
- Partner with brand, lifecycle, data science, and product to evolve performance marketing programs.
- Apply incrementality frameworks (including geo-lift) and refine strategy based on results.
Ideal Profile
- 3–5+ years in growth or performance marketing with deep paid search specialization.
- Hands-on Google Ads experience; in-house or agency backgrounds welcome if search was your focus.
- Proficient with Google Shopping and familiar with Performance Max nuances vs. standard search.
- Strong command of bidding strategies, automation, and budget allocation in high-stakes environments.
- Data fluency with tools like Looker, Tableau, Excel/Sheets; SQL familiarity is a plus.
- Ability to partner with creative teams and optimize messaging for search formats and placements.
- Experience designing and running structured testing plans with measurable outcomes.
- Thoughtful approach to brand SEM and incrementality best practices.
- Solution-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, collaborative, and ownership-driven in a lean team.
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
This is a remote role. Compensation depends on experience, location, and performance, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
- Salary range (US-based): $94,500—$139,000 USD.
- Eligible for an annual cash award based on individual and company performance.
