Spotlight Media is hiring a Strategy & Growth Marketing professional to accelerate TikTok Shop performance for client brands. This full-time role in Los Angeles combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution across product selection, creator programs, campaigns, and paid amplification—with a clear mandate to grow GMV and profitability.

Role Summary

This opportunity suits ex-founders, performance marketers, and content creators who may want to start a company in the future. It is highly autonomous: you will set direction, define your day-to-day, and own the client relationship end to end—combining strategy with hands-on execution to drive GMV and sustainable unit economics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead TikTok Shop product selection and positioning to align with market demand.
  • Build and manage client P&Ls to monitor performance and profitability.
  • Align creator sampling goals to brand objectives and pivot quickly when off track.
  • Audit creator partnerships to surface top performers and refine outreach.
  • Develop and execute marketing calendars for creator communities to drive momentum.
  • Launch and manage competitions or challenges to engage creators and increase volume.
  • Evaluate when to deploy creative boosts or Spark Ads to maximize GMV.
  • Identify and double down on “alphas”—winning strategies, creators, or campaigns that unlock scale.

Ideal Profile

  • Entrepreneurial operator with background as ex-founder, performance marketer, or creator.
  • Comfortable with minimal handholding and full end-to-end ownership of client outcomes.
  • Analytical mindset with experience building and interpreting P&Ls.
  • Hands-on with TikTok Shop or social commerce workflows, creator sampling, and outreach.
  • Skilled at community activation and running structured campaign calendars for creators.
  • Familiar with Spark Ads and creative boosts; embraces rapid testing and iteration.

Compensation And Location

This is a full-time role based in Los Angeles, CA. Compensation range: USD $70,000–$90,000.
