Backed by L Catterton, the company is expanding across the U.S. and hiring a Head of Growth Marketing to accelerate acquisition, retention, and digital experience. The role is full-time, in office at Sploot’s Denver HQ.

Sploot is building a seamless, accessible vet experience loved by pet parents and veterinary teams. The growth marketing function includes startup operators, ex-consultants, and seasoned marketers who value structured problem solving, impact orientation, and high ownership.
Role Summary
As Head of Growth Marketing, you will scale and optimize Sploot’s growth engine across paid media, SEO, lifecycle/CRM, and web/app funnels. This player-coach position combines strategy, hands-on execution, and leadership of a small internal team and agency partners. You’ll analyze performance data, run experiments, and partner with Product and Engineering to improve conversion and booking flows, with direct exposure to the Co-CEOs and a potential path to broader marketing leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own acquisition and retention across Google Ads, Meta, SEO, lifecycle/CRM, and website funnels.
- Drive CAC, LTV, ROAS, funnel conversion rates, and retention KPIs.
- Launch and optimize paid campaigns, lifecycle flows, and landing pages.
- Identify trends, diagnose issues, and execute solutions quickly.
- Oversee website and mobile app touchpoints to ensure a seamless journey from ad click to clinic visit.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to improve conversion rates, booking flows, and customer experience.
- Manage an internal team plus agencies (SEM, SEO, lifecycle, web) with clear priorities and accountability.
- Build structured reporting and dashboards; deliver actionable insights to leadership.
- Align with Operations, local clinic teams, and Product to match marketing with capacity and business goals.
Ideal Profile
- 5–8 years of professional experience; 2–4 years at a top-tier consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) and/or in high-growth startups or growth marketing roles.
- Impact-oriented and motivated by moving the needle on KPIs and business results.
- Player-coach who can lead, execute, and roll up sleeves as needed.
- Bias for action with strong prioritization and follow-through.
- Curious, adaptable, and quick to learn new tools and domains.
- Strong communicator able to work directly with founders and push back thoughtfully.
- Bonus: experience in growth marketing, digital products, or startup environments.
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
Sploot offers a competitive base salary of $140,000–$165,000 USD plus equity. This is an in-office role at Sploot HQ in Denver, CO.
