Role Summary

The Assistant, Brand Initiatives will contribute to brand strategy and execution for Direct to Retail programs, Private Label brands, and broader growth opportunities. You will analyze market trends and internal performance data, support project management, and collaborate across teams to bring new concepts to market and drive category growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support strategic brand initiatives across Direct to Retail programs, Private Label brands, and company growth strategies.
  • Analyze industry, competitor, and market trends to inform brand and product development recommendations.
  • Report on brand performance using internal systems such as QS, Seasonal Buy, and PLM to surface insights and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Product Development, Merchandising, Marketing, and Creative to execute cross-functional projects on time and to spec.
  • Contribute to brainstorming and ideation sessions that generate new brand and product concepts.
  • Assist with project management for new brands and corporate initiatives from brief through execution.
  • Identify and help develop future category opportunities based on consumer insights and market signals.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Proactive, with a sense of urgency and ownership across all projects and deliverables.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented; adept at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
  • Interest in Halloween, pop culture, music, and teen lifestyle.

Compensation, Benefits, and Location

This full-time role is based in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The expected base salary range is $45,000–$55,000 USD. Individual pay depends on factors such as experience, skills, and the scope of responsibilities.
