Role Summary

The LinkedIn Social Media Specialist develops and manages content that strengthens brand credibility and drives measurable engagement. You will own content calendars, produce posts, design graphics in Canva, manage day-to-day account activity, and report on performance. You’ll work directly with clients to align on goals, voice, and content direction, and you’ll contribute to team processes, best practices, and strategy sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write concise, compelling LinkedIn posts tailored to each client’s brand, audience, and goals.
  • Design branded graphics in Canva that follow LinkedIn visual best practices and stand out in-feed.
  • Maintain content calendars; schedule posts; ensure a consistent cadence and channel hygiene.
  • Facilitate client strategy meetings to gather insights, align on voice, and confirm priorities.
  • Monitor engagement and community interactions; surface opportunities and recommendations proactively.
  • Track KPIs such as engagement rates, impressions, and follower growth using native and third-party analytics.
  • Compile and present monthly reports with data-driven insights and next-step recommendations.
  • Optimize content based on analytics and platform updates to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Deliver posts and campaigns efficiently using templates and best practices; manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Earn strong client satisfaction (e.g., high NPS) through clear communication and value delivery.

Ideal Profile

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience with a proven record of growing LinkedIn reach and engagement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Media (e.g., Creative Writing).
  • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills; comfortable leading meetings with stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail paired with strategic thinking and editorial judgment.
  • Creative writing ability and a keen eye for visual design and aesthetics.
  • Sound grasp of marketing fundamentals, social media, and branding principles for B2B audiences.
  • Hands-on skills: LinkedIn content creation, social copywriting, and Canva design for graphics.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace and scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Comfort with analytics tools and native LinkedIn analytics to inform decisions and reporting.
  • Professionalism and collaborative mindset when working with team members, clients, and partners.

Compensation And Location

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 USD (commensurate with experience). Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week). Remote within the United States or Canada.
