Role Summary
Reporting to Marketing leadership, the Senior Brand Manager leads strategy and execution for assigned verticals and initiatives. The role develops brand and identity standards, orchestrates multi-channel campaigns, manages agencies, and sets KPIs to measure engagement and ROI. Responsibilities also include budget ownership, content oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to align marketing, communications, and PR with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and uphold brand and identity standards across materials, channels, and events.
- Develop strategies that drive revenue, engagement, and loyalty via print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
- Conduct market research; establish KPIs; analyze and report brand and campaign performance to optimize ROI.
- Lead marketing strategy for assigned verticals/audiences and run targeted multi-channel campaigns (social, email, web, print, direct mail).
- Guide content development and approve editorial/advertorial; oversee social content, presentations, collateral, video/audio, and banners.
- Manage agencies and vendors to deliver initiatives on time and on budget; ensure quality and consistency across touchpoints.
- Collaborate with teams to align marketing, communications, and PR with organizational goals; contribute to strategic planning and execution.
- Evaluate and improve processes, asset management, and workflow tools; support data-driven targeting and message continuity.
- Partner with digital, social, and communications teams to maintain current, brand-consistent web content and strong user experience.
- Support studio productions, video/audio editing, and content library management as needed; stay current on industry best practices.
Ideal Profile
Candidates bring strategic marketing experience, hands-on brand management, and a collaborative, data-informed approach to execution.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or communications (or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 11+ years).
- Experience: 7+ years industry experience; 2+ years in brand management; 2+ years developing and implementing marketing/communication/PR strategies; 2+ years in strategic planning.
- Skills: Media buying and segment-specific tactics; website and social media; cross-functional leadership; budgeting and KPI management.
- Preferred: Master’s degree; 9+ years industry experience; 2+ years leading people or teams.

Compensation And Location
Salary range: $114,320–$142,900 USD (range reflects minimum to midpoint; compensation may exceed midpoint commensurate with experience). Full-time, exempt. This is a remote role subject to Sourcewell’s telecommuting policies. Occasional travel to Staples, MN may be requested (potentially twice per year with advance notice). Sourcewell is currently accepting applications from all states except: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
