Sodexo is hiring a Field Marketing Specialist 1 to support dining services at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, IN. This on-site role is ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys campus engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and executing growth initiatives that enhance the student dining experience. Note: This is not a remote position.

Role Summary

As a Field Marketing Specialist 1, you will support the marketing and communications function for Sodexo’s dining program at the University of Southern Indiana. You’ll execute growth and engagement plans, manage on-campus promotions, and help strengthen client relationships while juggling multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support growth initiatives spanning non-mandatory sales, pricing, retail and catering, new sales and retention, eCommerce, and mutualized promotions.
• Increase customer insight and satisfaction through surveys, focus groups, engagement promotions, and relevant technology.
• Implement internal and external communication via websites, social media, innovation sharing, and best-practice dissemination.
• Maintain a visible on-campus presence to promote programs and events and engage students where they are.
• Contribute to team development and nurture client relationships while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Ideal Profile

• Strong marketing background with excellent writing skills; photography and video editing experience is a plus.
• Strategic leadership, talent management, and strong communication and project management capabilities.
• Advanced presentation skills with extensive PowerPoint experience.
• Strong computer skills; experience with Scala preferred.
• Background in contract food services is preferred.
• Minimum education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Compensation, Benefits, And Location

Salary range: $41,100–$62,040 USD. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, skills, and training. Sodexo notes that salary offers are fair, equitable, and tailored to a candidate’s specific qualifications.
