Snap Inc. is hiring a senior marketing leader to shape and scale its global brand strategy, partnering across creative, product, and commercial teams to drive impact. This full-time role is based in New York, NY, and is suited to an experienced operator who can lead a high-performing team while guiding integrated campaigns, measurement, and executive-level storytelling.

Role Summary

The Director, Global Brand Marketing will lead a diverse team responsible for advancing Snap’s brand across consumer, creator, and business audiences. You will craft and execute strategy, oversee high-impact campaigns and narratives, and collaborate with Creative, Product, Comms, Sales, Growth, and Insights. Success includes disciplined measurement, clear ROI, and representing Marketing in executive forums and on industry stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a global team to grow Snap’s brand and products.
  • Define and execute brand marketing strategy for consumers, businesses, and creators.
  • Deliver integrated campaigns, narratives, thought leadership, partnerships, workshops, and events (virtual and in-person).
  • Partner closely with Insights, Creative Strategy, Product Marketing, Comms, Marketing Science, Product, and Sales.
  • Localize global programs with regional leaders and share best practices across markets.
  • Represent Marketing in leadership forums and as a spokesperson on industry stages and in media.
  • Establish measurement frameworks, evaluate ROI, and communicate insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure brand consistency, governance, and alignment to Snap’s overarching business goals.

Ideal Profile

  • 15+ years in marketing with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years leading cross-functional teams; proven player–coach in dynamic environments.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management across complex, global organizations.
  • Creative mindset with a track record of cultivating differentiated ideas and campaigns.
  • Analytical rigor; ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communicator who can articulate brand story and value proposition externally.
  • Experience in regional or global roles and in digital platform, app, or media environments.
  • Background in consumer brand marketing; proven ability to bring strong creative to market; success leading B2B marketing teams.

Compensation And Location

Full-time | New York, NY. Snap’s “Default Together” approach expects team members in-office 4+ days per week. Snap is an equal opportunity employer and provides reasonable accommodations as needed.

  • Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): $276,000–$414,000 base salary (USD).
  • Zone B: $262,000–$393,000 base salary (USD).
  • Zone C: $235,000–$352,000 base salary (USD).

This role is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, paid parental leave, and mental health support, aligned with Snap’s policies and market conditions.
