Role Summary

The Manager, eCommerce Marketing will optimize the customer journey and drive sales, margin, and conversion across Peoples’ digital storefront. You will own the promotional calendar, content strategy, and on-site marketing cadence; oversee merchandising and internal search; and partner across creative, merchandising, planning, and marketing to launch collections and initiatives. This role includes SEO ownership, testing and personalization, and coordination of site enhancements with product and platform partners—anchored in Canadian market insights for Peoples Jewellers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day management of the eCommerce promotional calendar, content strategy, and on-site marketing cadence.
  • Develop content aligned to brand and promotional calendars in partnership with creative, product, and marketing teams.
  • Conduct content audits and competitor analysis to surface optimization opportunities.
  • Manage site merchandising, internal search, and third-party platform relationships to maximize performance.
  • Own taxonomy, navigation, and UX to support intuitive, engaging shopping journeys.
  • Express and reinforce Peoples’ brand voice digitally, with a focus on Canadian market behaviors and growth strategies.
  • Partner with planning, merchandising, and marketing to launch new collections, categories, and brand initiatives.
  • Optimize SEO via organic content improvements and on-page strategies to grow qualified traffic.
  • Collaborate with testing and personalization teams on A/B and multivariate experiments informed by analytics and user behavior.
  • Support site enhancements: define business rules, manage third-party integrations, and participate in UAT for new releases.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, online sales, internet marketing, or related digital business.
  • Proven ability to manage promotional calendars, on-site merchandising, and content operations end to end.
  • Experience improving SEO and driving conversion via testing and personalization.
  • Familiarity with Informatica and SAP Hybris is a strong plus.

Compensation, Benefits, and Location

Salary range: $75,000–$82,000 USD, with base pay varying by location, internal equity, and experience.
