Save the Children is hiring a Lead Advisor to accelerate cause-related marketing (CRM) and corporate partnerships that fund programs for children worldwide. This senior role will set vision, shape cross-functional campaigns with Marketing, and help the organization meet an ambitious CRM revenue target by 2027. The position is full-time with hybrid options in Washington, DC or Fairfield, CT.

Role Summary
Reporting to the Senior Managing Director of Corporate Partnerships, the Lead Advisor will architect and grow a portfolio of CRM partnerships, collaborate with Marketing to launch integrated campaigns, and enable internal account leads to scale high-impact initiatives. Success includes delivering on existing commitments, unlocking new business, and contributing to thought leadership—collectively driving well over $15M in annual CRM revenue by 2027.
Drive Account Strategy And Revenue Growth
- Lead a portfolio of corporate partners to unlock significant revenue for children’s programs.
- Build an industry-focused strategy and innovative offerings that position Save the Children as a partner of choice.
- Serve as the organizational expert in CRM and craft partner-specific strategies that deliver measurable value.
- Oversee strategic planning, new business prospecting, contract negotiation, and high-level problem-solving across accounts.
- Market compelling partner offerings, diversify the portfolio, and continuously monitor industry trends to evolve strategy.
- Advance goals beyond cash revenue, including program innovation, lead generation, employee engagement, and workplace giving.
Lead Cause-Related Marketing (CRM)
- Design and execute partner-specific CRM campaigns with Marketing, aligned to CSR objectives and brand impact goals.
- Translate partner CSR strategies into compelling cause marketing propositions and benefits.
- Implement a tiered partner benefits framework to streamline execution and enhance value delivery.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality campaign activation and measurement across partner initiatives.
- Identify emerging trends, build case studies, and position Save the Children as a thought leader in CRM.
- Collaborate across Corporate Partnerships, Marketing, and Impact & Evidence to align goals and insights.
- Guide outside-in value proposition development based on audience insights and analysis; support creative production.
Corporate Partnerships Leadership
- Serve on the Corporate Partnerships Leadership Team and lead complex, high-impact projects.
- Communicate complex concepts and influence senior executives to adopt strategic recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, measurement, and outcomes across the portfolio.
- Mentor and develop staff to deepen CRM expertise and strategic alignment.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 10+ years of relevant work in corporate fundraising/CRM or related fields.
- Track record building partnership frameworks and deepening 7–8-figure partnerships in foundation, fundraising, or program/policy contexts.
- Adept at navigating complex relationships; provides technical guidance to internal account leads on large partnerships.
- Experience engaging senior philanthropic executives; strong executive communication and influence skills.
- Proven leadership and team management; ability to lead diverse, global teams using insights and influence.
- Self-starter and business builder; proficient in MS Office; fluent in spoken and written English; up to 10% travel.
Preferred Experience
- Social impact, foundation, international development, or humanitarian sector experience.
- Sales-oriented business environment experience and work within complex global organizations.
Compensation And Location
Job type: Full-time. Primary location: Fairfield, CT; hybrid work available in Washington, DC or Fairfield, CT. U.S.-based target salary ranges (USD) vary by labor market; actual base may vary by experience, internal equity, and location. Candidates outside the U.S. are compensated per local scales.
- Geo 1 (NY Metro, DC, high-cost markets): $131,750–$147,250 base salary
- Geo 2 (national average markets): $119,850–$133,950 base salary
- Geo 3 (below national average markets): $107,950–$120,650 base salary
