Company Overview

Sasso is partnering with a client to hire a Marketing Manager supporting a portfolio of sports equipment and lifestyle brands. The team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and vendors to deliver consistent, effective marketing initiatives.

Role Summary

The Marketing Manager serves as the central coordinator across brand, creative, e-commerce, and retail workstreams. You will align strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels; manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables; support influencer, affiliate, email, SMS, and social initiatives; track progress and risks; and contribute to reporting and optimization informed by market, competitor, and audience insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate brand marketing across creative, digital, and retail channels to ensure alignment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support direct-to-consumer, retail, and direct-to-organization goals.
  • Brief creative projects, review deliverables, and provide feedback to maintain brand consistency.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables across agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels tied to brand positioning and product launches.
  • Assist with influencer partnerships, affiliate programs, and social content to amplify reach and engagement.
  • Coordinate email and SMS marketing with creative and e-commerce teams to drive retention.
  • Track project progress, flag risks, and proactively address challenges to maintain schedules and quality.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to inform planning.
  • Contribute to campaign reporting, analyze key performance metrics, and recommend optimizations.

Qualifications And Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of marketing experience; sports marketing, agency collaboration, or e-commerce preferred.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce environments, conversion optimization, and performance metrics (e.g., CAC, ROAS).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.
  • Strong organization and communication skills; effective at coordinating cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Experience working with external agencies and vendors on integrated campaigns.
  • Knowledge of social, paid media, influencer, and affiliate channels is preferred.
  • Behavioral strengths: stakeholder communication, time management, adaptability, attention to detail, collaborative problem solving, initiative, and resourcefulness.

Compensation And Location

Full-time, in-office role based in Baton Rouge, LA. Estimated salary range: USD $59,545–$78,068. Candidates in New Orleans, Lafayette, and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply with the expectation of frequent in-person collaboration.

  • Frequent travel may be required for meetings, events, or project initiatives.
