Role Summary
As a Marketing Specialist, you will implement regional marketing programs, partner with managers and advisors to penetrate target segments, and support both acquisition and retention. The role combines campaign execution, advisor enablement, event planning, and compliance alignment. You’ll produce practical content (such as newsletters) that keeps advisors informed, while coordinating multi-channel tactics across social, email, and traditional media to help grow books of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and implement marketing programs and tools with advisors across the region.
- Partner closely with managers and advisors to penetrate target segments and drive new business opportunities.
- Execute multi-channel campaigns spanning social media, email, and traditional marketing to build pipeline and brand awareness.
- Support client retention through engagement strategies and relationship management with advisors and teams.
- Plan and coordinate events aligned to regional marketing initiatives and growth priorities.
- Produce advisor newsletters to share programs, tools, and best practices while reinforcing culture and standards.
- Ensure all marketing activities align with brand standards, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ideal Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent experience; college degree or prior marketing experience is a plus.
- Ability to understand and apply marketing strategies, systems, and processes in a regulated environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable partnering with sales leaders and financial professionals.
- Proactive, organized, and adaptable; able to prioritize multiple assignments and shifting timelines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is helpful.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and multi-channel campaign execution.
Compensation, Benefits, and Location
Base pay ranges from $24.50 to $31.73 per hour (USD), with actual compensation based on location, experience, education, licensure, and skill level. Non-sales roles may be eligible for a bonus program. Hourly employees accrue Personal Time Off (PTO). This position is pension eligible. The role is on-site Monday through Friday during standard office hours. Employer notes indicate the role can be based in Chicago, IL; Dublin, OH; or Cincinnati, OH, while the posting lists Downers Grove, IL as the location.
