You’ll engage senior leaders across state and district organizations, tailor solution proposals, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to close complex, multi-year contracts while maintaining strong pipeline discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end account lifecycle, including pipeline building, forecasting, closing, and expansion across an assigned territory.
- Build relationships with top-down and bottom-up stakeholders, including superintendents, CIOs, curriculum directors, and business officials.
- Lead executive-level conversations; tailor proposals; close complex, multi-year contracts that align with customer goals and purchasing processes.
- Develop territory and account plans across key personas; identify whitespace within the total addressable market (TAM).
- Maintain 4x+ pipeline coverage and meet/exceed quota through disciplined sales execution and forecasting rigor.
- Become fluent in PowerSchool’s enterprise solutions to clearly articulate value, differentiation, and outcomes.
- Partner cross-functionally with solution engineers, marketing, product, and leadership to advance and win deals.
- Navigate objections creatively and support clients with thoughtful, customized solutions that build loyalty.
- Operate independently from a home office while staying focused, self-directed, and results-driven.
- Support additional initiatives as needed to drive overall business success.
Ideal Profile
- 6–10 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, ideally in CRM, ERP, Analytics, or EdTech.
- Proven record of achieving $1.5M+ annual quota with a 4x+ pipeline coverage strategy.
- Expertise managing long, complex sales cycles (9+ months) with coordination across Sales, SEs, Marketing, Product, and Executives.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels, including the C-suite, especially within underpenetrated or net-new accounts.
- Skilled at creating detailed account plans and identifying whitespace across the total addressable market (TAM).
- Strong executive presence and confidence engaging senior-level decision-makers.
- Demonstrated success orchestrating multi-persona sales with enterprise-level education stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-directed, organized, and disciplined in a remote environment; K–12/EdTech background is a plus, not required.
Compensation, Benefits, And Location
Base salary range is $85,000–$115,000 USD, plus applicable commission. This U.S.-specific range reflects factors such as skills, experience, location, internal equity, and market data. The role is full-time and remote.

- Short-term and long-term disability
- Comprehensive 401(k) plan
- Generous parental leave
- Discretionary Time Off (DTO)
