PartnerCentric is hiring a Director of Technical Operations – Affiliate & Influencer Marketing to lead solution engineering and technical operations across its affiliate and influencer programs. This remote role blends strategy and execution, partnering with Sales and Client Services to deliver scalable integrations, elevate tracking accuracy, and accelerate client time-to-value.

Role Summary

As Director of Technical Operations, you will lead solution engineering and the Technical Operations team through client onboarding, integrations, migrations, tracking, and ongoing enablement. You will architect sustainable solutions with Sales and Client Services, oversee advanced affiliate marketing operations (tracking, attribution, product feeds, partner network integrations), and implement processes and dashboards that drive integration velocity, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the revenue team with sales engineering, live demos, proof-of-concepts, RFP responses, and technical proposals.
  • Architect tailored solutions that leverage PartnerCentric technology and align to client roadmaps and requirements.
  • Lead and scale Technical Operations; coach, mentor, and standardize processes, toolchains, SOPs, and dashboards.
  • Implement OKRs to track integration speed, quality, client satisfaction, and team development.
  • Own technical setup and QA of affiliate tracking across platforms such as Impact, Partnerize, CJ, and ShareASale, plus influencer platforms.
  • Manage pixel implementations, postback integrations, tag containers, and UTM strategies; guide product feed setup and optimization.
  • Serve as SME for GA4, Adobe Analytics, attribution, and cookie-less tracking; stay current on affiliate and SaaS tracking trends.
  • Act as primary technical liaison to client IT and product teams; troubleshoot integration issues and data discrepancies.
  • Advise on optimization of ongoing integrations and affiliate programs to maximize ROI and scalability.
  • Enable internal teams with training, documentation, and issue resolution workflows; continuously refine integration playbooks.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field.
  • Certifications and proven excellence in GA4 or Adobe Analytics.
  • 8+ years in solution engineering, technical consulting, or technical operations leadership within SaaS, affiliate, or partner ecosystems.
  • 4+ years managing tagging platforms (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Tealium).
  • 2+ years with mobile tracking platforms (Branch, AppsFlyer, URLgenius) using SDK or no-SDK frameworks.
  • Hands-on with APIs, SDKs, cloud platforms, IAM, and integration frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of affiliate tracking platforms, attribution modeling, GA4, product feeds, and reporting tools.
  • Proven leadership building high-performing technical teams; excellent communicator to technical and executive stakeholders.

Metrics For Success

  • Sales Engineering Impact: Percent of qualified deals supported; demo-to-close conversion rate.
  • Integration Velocity: Average time from contract signature to go-live.
  • Affiliate Tracking Accuracy: On-time, error-free tracking implementations across platforms.
  • Client Satisfaction: NPS for onboarding and ongoing technical support.
  • Operational Efficiency: SLA attainment and integration success rate.
  • Team Development: Retention, skill advancement, and enablement effectiveness.

Compensation, Benefits, And Location

  • Base Salary: $125,000–$150,000 USD, plus performance bonus.
