Role Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, the Marketing Operations & Event Manager will own PaceMate’s conference and event portfolio and support core marketing operations. You will collaborate closely with product, sales, HR, clinical, operations, executives, and agency partners to plan and execute events; manage calendars, content, and vendors; and support campaigns, sales enablement, and content development. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently to hit deadlines and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Lead domestic (and future international) conference strategy and execution, including budget ownership and post-event reporting.
- Plan and manage sponsorships: scoping, contracts, reservations, timelines, documentation, and vendor oversight.
- Coordinate booth build, show operations, event messaging, and production of customer support materials with agencies/vendors.
- Own bespoke events: webinars, advisory boards, the National Sales Meeting, and strategic offsites, including budgeting and execution.
- Maintain integrated marketing calendars across conferences, content, social media, PR, and campaigns to drive alignment and delivery.
- Coordinate social, PR, and analyst relations programs; enable streamlined engagement with third-party groups and briefings.
- Manage the marketing store and resource folders to ensure assets are accurate, available, and up to date.
- Enable content production with agencies and freelancers; make simple WordPress updates to support new content builds.
- Support product marketing, sales enablement, and campaign execution across channels.
- Analyze website and SEM/SEO performance to inform iterative content and messaging improvements.
- Monitor competitive intelligence and guide differentiated conference messaging with product and sales teams.
- Create, execute, and summarize customer satisfaction surveys on a periodic basis.
Ideal Profile
- 6+ years of professional marketing, education, or product experience; bachelor’s degree required.
- Proven organizer and self-starter who meets deadlines and maintains strong relationships across teams and vendors.
- Experience in SaaS marketing or cardiology medical devices preferred.
- Fluency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills; able to influence without direct authority.
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities and changing requirements.
- CRM and marketing automation experience preferred (Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation And Location
- Role: Full-time, remote (U.S.-based).
- Salary range: $75,000–$108,000 USD, commensurate with experience.

- Reporting: Sr. Director of Marketing; no direct reports.
