Option Care Health seeks a results-driven Account Executive to grow acute therapy referrals and partnerships across the Salt Lake City market. In this field-based role, you’ll own territory planning, cultivate health system relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver a consistent, high-standard experience for patients and referrers.

Role Summary
The Account Executive develops and executes a territory plan to drive top-line revenue and margin for assigned acute therapies. You will present compelling partnership opportunities to health system leaders and referral sources, prioritize accounts based on potential and fit, and guide stakeholders through a consultative sales process—from need identification to commitment—while coordinating closely with Clinical Liaisons and branch teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and implement territory sales strategies for acute therapies.
- Present partnership opportunities to health system leaders and referral sources; quantify value and economic impact.
- Prioritize accounts by potential, current referrals, profitability, service needs, and likelihood of success.
- Create and update short- and long-term account plans; track activities and progress against objectives.
- Align and communicate strategies with Clinical Liaisons and branch staff; solicit input and feedback.
- Manage internal and external relationships to set customers up for success throughout the referral process.
- Coordinate frequently with Clinical Liaisons to identify new opportunities and monitor goal attainment.
- Identify decision-makers, build access, and strengthen relationships across stakeholder groups.
- Assess and document competitive dynamics within accounts to inform strategy and positioning.
- Partner with Specialty Sales, Nursing, Regional leadership, and other experts to expand relationships and sales.
- Tailor value propositions to each account’s lifecycle; confirm needs before proposing solutions.
- Organize multiple work streams and prioritize growth while upholding service excellence.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of sales experience; or high school diploma and 5+ years.
- Healthcare or pharmaceutical sales background preferred; infusion experience is a plus.
- Applies sales and marketing principles to position solutions and drive adoption.
- Analyzes and reports sales data to spot trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Self-directed and resourceful; knows when to escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong time management; able to organize details and meet multiple deadlines.
- Microsoft Excel (intermediate), Word (basic), and PowerPoint (basic) proficiency.
- Willing to travel approximately 75% (in-state and out-of-state).
- Preferred: Clinical bachelor’s degree and infusion sales experience.
- Individual contributor role; no supervisory responsibilities.
Compensation, Benefits, and Location
Location: Salt Lake City, UT | Job Type: Full-time. Compensation is based on education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market alignment. Pay range: $86,332.76–$143,902.94 USD.
