Role Summary

As Senior Manager, Marketing Automation, you will develop and execute the automation strategy with a strong emphasis on AI and machine learning. You’ll architect multi‑channel journeys, manage platform health and integrations, and partner across marketing and sales to ensure seamless lead flow and consistent messaging. The ideal leader combines strategy, hands‑on platform expertise, and a rigorous testing and analytics mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute an AI‑powered automation strategy for segmentation, predictive scoring, dynamic personalization, and send‑time optimization.
  • Design and optimize multi‑channel journeys across email, in‑app, SMS, and more, aligned to user behavior and intent.
  • Own funnel health from lead generation through retention; identify bottlenecks and implement data‑driven improvements to conversion and velocity.
  • Build KPI frameworks and reporting to evaluate program performance; deliver insights and recommendations regularly to stakeholders.
  • Lead disciplined A/B and multivariate testing to refine content, journeys, and conversion paths.
  • Oversee marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and integrations with Salesforce, 6sense, and Outreach; ensure data integrity and enable self‑service where appropriate.
  • Partner with xDR, Marketing Operations, Content, and Demand Generation to align campaigns and sales engagement sequences.
  • Champion governance, documentation, and best practices for scalable, compliant execution.

Ideal Profile

  • 5+ years in marketing automation, including 2–3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Hands‑on expertise with a leading MAP (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Pardot, Eloqua) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
  • 6sense certification required; experience leveraging intent data for targeting and orchestration.
  • Applied AI/ML experience for personalization, predictive analytics, and optimization within marketing programs or platforms.
  • Proven journey design across channels with clear business outcomes and customer‑centric experiences.
  • Strong funnel analytics; adept at diagnosing leakage, shortening cycles, and demonstrating ROI with clear KPIs and dashboards.
  • Testing rigor with A/B and multivariate methodologies and a track record of continuous improvement.
  • Technical fluency in HTML/CSS for email and landing pages, data management, and integration concepts.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills; comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bonus: Marketo certification; experience in B2B SaaS, especially identity or security solutions.

Compensation And Location

Location: Bellevue, WA. Employment Type: Full‑time. The employer lists an annual OTE range of $170,000–$256,000 USD for candidates in CA, CO, NY, and WA, and $140,000–$210,000 USD for candidates in Canada. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, and work location and may include equity, bonus, and comprehensive benefits per employer policies.
