Nordic Naturals is hiring a Director of Performance Marketing & Strategy to lead its Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) growth across Amazon 3P, marketplaces, and Nordic.com. This role focuses on lower- and mid-funnel media, analytics-driven optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to support a broader omnichannel strategy, protect premium pricing, and minimize grey market activity.

Role Summary

This data-driven leader will own DTC demand generation and performance marketing across key channels, partnering closely with brand, sales operations, and external agencies. You will develop and execute lower- and mid-funnel media strategies, build KPI dashboards, monitor and optimize core metrics, and manage budgets with accountability for both top- and bottom-line impact. Success in this role requires aligning e-commerce performance with retail objectives to advance an integrated omnichannel strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead lower-funnel conversion media across Amazon Advertising (Search, DSP, Display, Performance Plus), Google, Bing, Programmatic Display, and TikTok Shop.
  • Partner with brand teams on media allocation, product prioritization, and phasing; influence upper-funnel brand executions.
  • Collaborate with Amazon ads team and agencies to drive traffic, incremental sales, organic performance, and share growth.
  • Oversee e-commerce analytics and regular business reporting; build and maintain KPI dashboards.
  • Monitor and optimize core KPIs, including NTB, ROAS, conversion rate, and TACoS.
  • Coordinate with DTC Sales Ops on forecasting and inventory impacts of marketing tactics.
  • Partner on pricing and promotional strategy to support the broader omnichannel business while protecting premium positioning.
  • Manage budgets effectively to deliver revenue growth and profitability targets.
  • Build and mentor a performance marketing and analytics team; create learning plans and visibility for reports and associates.
  • Foster a consumer-first, data-driven, solution-oriented culture and align cross-functionally to hit goals.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field (MBA preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in eCommerce with 3+ years in a direct leadership role.
  • Proven Amazon Seller Central success and experience across third-party marketplaces.
  • Preferred expertise with ChannelAdvisor and Shopify Plus; familiarity with Shopify apps, SAP, Domo, and middleware.
  • Experience managing multiple agencies and SaaS partners; strong budgeting and vendor oversight skills.
  • Advanced analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, presentation, project management, and planning capabilities.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; strong communication, initiative, accountability, and customer orientation.

Compensation, Benefits, and Location

Estimated base salary range: $165,000–$220,000 USD, with potential additional incentive compensation. Role type: Remote. Headquarters: Watsonville, CA. Exact compensation depends on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
