Role Summary: Demand Generation Manager

Reporting into Growth Marketing, you’ll build and scale user and customer lifecycle programs that engage key personas and drive pipeline. You’ll partner closely with product, content, integrated campaigns, SDRs, Field Marketing, and Marketing Ops to plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across channels. The scope may expand into customer journey mapping, email channel performance, and sales enablement best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align with Demand Gen and Integrated Campaigns leadership on priorities that support pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Partner with Marketing Ops to build nurture programs, improve segmentation and retargeting, and elevate digital channel performance.
  • Analyze customer behavior across touchpoints; identify patterns to inform personalized experiences and conversion paths.
  • Own KPIs and reporting; use data and insights to test, learn, and refine campaigns end to end.
  • Leverage internal AI tools to scale content production and automate workflows for efficiency and impact.
  • Collaborate with Content to develop persona-based messaging and identify opportunities that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Propose proactive growth ideas to generate new business and expand engagement across segments.

Ideal Profile

  • 4+ years in demand generation or growth marketing, ideally in B2B tech.
  • Broad channel knowledge: paid media, email, organic social, web, and SEO.
  • Proven ability to acquire, retain, and engage leads and customers using data-driven experimentation.
  • Innovative mindset and comfort applying AI to improve down-funnel performance.
  • Proficiency with MarTech tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, Tableau). Strong communication and writing skills. Bachelor’s degree+.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with SaaS growth programs (agency or in-house).
  • Familiarity with Engineer/DevOps personas and Enterprise/Commercial buyers.
  • Marketo and/or Salesforce certification.

Compensation, Benefits, and Location

Base salary range: $114,000–$143,000 USD. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan; final pay may vary by location, skills, and experience. Benefits include healthcare, dental, vision, parental support, mental health resources, 401(k) with match, flexible time off, 11 paid holidays, volunteer time, and more. Location: Portland, OR. New Relic supports a flexible workforce model (office-based, remote, or hybrid). Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
