Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Evolve the regional B2B partnership strategy: assess distribution networks, recommend improvements, and execute plans tied to short- and long-term objectives.
- Vet, propose, and implement strategic local partnerships aligned to the RTM framework with clear, mutual KPIs and objectives; develop annual activation plans with partners.
- Negotiate local agreements and support rollout of national partnerships; facilitate QBRs and report performance trends to leadership to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales (NAM, NPM, RSMs, TMs) and distribution sales teams to drive B2B results; serve as local point of contact for partnership communications across the sales organization.
- Enable partner teams through onboarding and training: work with B2B Trainer and TQM to design sales and after-sales service training tailored to partner needs.
- Collaborate with trade marketing to enhance brand visibility, tools, and compliance within the partnership network; support relevant tradeshows as approved.
- Expand partnerships across strategic segments (Workplace and Hospitality/Travel), including GPOs, broadliners, and facility/property management organizations.
- Ensure premium brand standards: deliver a professional sales experience, optimize brand equity and product trials, and champion sustainability and recycling initiatives in customer environments.
- Maintain compliance with Nestlé and Nespresso policies, trade terms, safety, legal regulations, and business ethics; coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate customer payments.
- Forecast capsule consumption and machine purchases; manage assigned budgets, sales incentives, and operational costs within the region.
Ideal Profile
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3–4+ years in customer account management and/or field sales, plus 2–3+ years working with or managing a DSD and/or food service network.
- Experience managing, leading, and developing third-party partnerships; familiarity with out-of-home CPG across Workplace, Hospitality, and Dining (local and national).
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales and trade marketing strategies; strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Leadership presence with excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills; active listener and effective coach/change agent.
- Ability to quickly assess markets, processes, and distributor practices; high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Team management experience preferred; willingness to travel 40%+; not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Compensation, Location, And Travel
Base salary range: $125,000–$140,000 USD. Final compensation may vary based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, including 401(k) with company match and healthcare coverage; incentives and benefits may vary by position.
- Location: Remote within the Southern Mid-West; ideal candidates are based in Dallas, Houston, or Austin, TX. Posting location: Austin, TX.
- Travel: 40%+ as business needs require.
