Role Summary
As Brand Marketing Manager, you will craft and execute localized brand and community strategies for the U.S. market. You will partner closely with headquarters in Korea and global stakeholders to align campaigns, tailor in-game messaging, and build authentic connections with anime and JRPG enthusiasts. Success in this role means elevating Brown Dust 2’s visibility, strengthening player engagement, and driving sustained growth across channels and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute U.S. offline and community events (e.g., Anime Expo, PAX, Comic-Con, fan meetups, promotional activations).
- Lead local brand and IP collaborations aligned to the Brown Dust 2 universe and audience interests.
- Manage relationships and negotiate contracts with U.S.-based marketing partners and agencies.
- Analyze trends and player behavior in the U.S. mobile and anime game market; translate insights into strategy.
- Collaborate with live operations to tailor in-game campaigns, offers, and messaging for U.S. players.
- Localize creative assets, social content, and paid media for cultural and linguistic resonance.
Ideal Profile
- 7+ years of marketing experience, ideally in gaming, entertainment, or digital media.
- Deep understanding of mobile games, especially anime or character-driven RPGs.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects across time zones and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong pulse on U.S. anime and gaming subcultures, community trends, and fan engagement dynamics.
- Clear, concise communicator able to bridge HQ priorities with local market nuances.
- Experience running or supporting event marketing at major gaming/anime conventions (preferred).
- Familiarity with U.S. cosplay, doujin/secondary creative scenes, or fan community ecosystems (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with anime-style RPGs on mobile or PC; Korean language proficiency is a plus.
Compensation And Location
This is a full-time, remote role. The expected U.S. base salary range is $110,000–$150,000 USD, with final compensation determined by location, level, and job-related experience. In compliance with California law, the listed range applies to U.S.-based candidates; compensation in other regions will be aligned with competitive local market standards.
