Neo4j is hiring a Senior Federal Marketing Manager to drive demand generation and pipeline growth across the U.S. Federal market. This strategic role partners closely with sales and cross-functional marketing teams to build and execute programs that convert in a complex public sector environment. The position is remote, with a strong preference for candidates in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

The company’s Americas Marketing team focuses on high-quality lead generation across the full marketing mix to guide prospects through the buyer’s journey.

Role Summary

Reporting to the VP of Americas Marketing, the Senior Federal Marketing Manager will plan and execute quarterly and annual programs to meet pipeline and revenue goals for Department of Defense, Intelligence, and Civilian agencies, as well as federal-focused partners. You will align closely with federal sales leadership, product marketing, partner marketing, SDRs, and corporate teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the federal marketing strategy across digital, partner, ABM, and events to drive leads, opportunities, and closed-won deals.
  • Own execution and optimization of the marketing mix to achieve KPIs including MQLs and SAOs; continuously analyze and report effectiveness.
  • Plan and run integrated programs: digital campaigns, content, webinars, virtual trainings, corporate events, and federal-specific initiatives.
  • Design and execute federal events and roadshows end to end, including audience segmentation, promotion, registration, lead management, and follow-up.
  • Expand partner engagement in-region through joint marketing efforts that support pipeline creation and acceleration.
  • Align tightly with sales leadership and AEs on priorities and enable federal sellers with clear messaging, positioning, and content.
  • Partner with SDRs to ensure timely lead follow-up and to gather feedback that improves program quality and conversion rates.
  • Localize and execute HQ-driven campaigns within the federal region, including launches and content-driven demand efforts.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of field marketing experience with digital programs and events; 5+ years building federal pipeline programs; familiarity with federal ABM is a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the U.S. public sector market, with specific expertise in federal agencies and partner ecosystems.
  • Strong demand generation, analytics, problem-solving, and end-to-end event management skills; able to work strategically and tactically.
  • Excellent communication and influence across all levels; highly collaborative with internal teams, partners, and vendors; autonomous executor.
  • Proactive learner and creative problem solver; organized project manager who prioritizes ROI and follows through on commitments.
  • Marketo and Salesforce proficiency required.

Compensation And Location

Salary range: USD $164,539–$224,038, depending on experience. This role is remote, with an ideal location in or near Washington, D.C. metro. Job type not specified in the listing.
