Role Summary

As a Specialist, Marketing Management (Creative Strategy) on the Enterprise Brand Strategy & Activation team, you will help transform marketing strategies into clear creative direction. You’ll support creative intake and planning, guide execution for low-complexity projects, and contribute to higher-complexity initiatives alongside senior strategists. The position is hybrid in Columbus, OH; associates near a Nationwide campus collaborate in-office two days per week, with remote flexibility on other days. Current Nationwide Remote Associates may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Profile

  • Experience: 1–4+ years in marketing, brand strategy, or client management (financial services or agency a plus). The job description also notes typically five or more years of related experience.
  • Creative fluency across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C; exposure to video, design, and digital/print production is beneficial.
  • Clear communicator able to draft concise messaging and collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong organization and project management skills; comfortable managing overlapping deadlines and priorities.
  • Analytical mindset; uses insights to inform briefs, measure outcomes, and recommend optimizations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Certifications: Technical insurance designations (CPCU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI) considered a plus; additional licensing/registrations may be required based on role needs.

Compensation, Benefits, And Location

Salary range: USD $61,745–$119,091. Full-time; exempt. Working conditions are a normal office environment with potential for extended or non-standard hours based on project load; travel as required.
