Role Summary
Reporting into the performance marketing team, the Digital Marketing Associate manages and optimizes Google and Microsoft Shopping Ads to hit acquisition and revenue goals. You’ll execute daily campaign tasks, analyze performance data, recommend optimizations, and collaborate with analytics, merchandising, and creative partners. You’ll also help test new paid media opportunities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Google and Microsoft Shopping Ads to support customer acquisition and revenue targets.
- Execute keyword management, bid adjustments, product feed monitoring, and budget pacing on a daily cadence.
- Analyze performance trends in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Analytics; translate data into actionable insights.
- Report on core metrics (ROAS, CPC, conversion rate) and help implement optimizations that improve efficiency and scale.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity; support research that identifies opportunities or flags risks.
- Evaluate and test emerging paid channels (e.g., Meta, programmatic, affiliate) and contribute to A/B tests and pilots.
- Collaborate with merchandising, creative, and analytics to align campaigns with product priorities and ensure accurate feeds and ad copy.
Outcomes And Success Metrics
- Increased order volume and revenue attributable to Shopping Ads.
- Improved ROAS and CPC efficiency over time through testing and optimization.
- Reliable reporting accuracy and insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Successful testing and adoption of new paid media tactics where appropriate.
- Timely execution of optimizations and campaign tasks with minimal oversight.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years managing paid search or Shopping Ads (ecommerce or digital-first environment preferred).
- Proficiency with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads; product feed management experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of analytics (Google Analytics, GA4, Looker Studio) for tracking and reporting.
- Comfort analyzing data in Excel or Google Sheets (basic formulas and pivot tables preferred).
- Curiosity to explore new paid media channels and a growth mindset beyond Shopping Ads.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and learns from feedback; collaborative communicator.
- Located in the Central or Eastern Time Zones (role is not open to Mountain or Pacific Time Zones).
Compensation, Location, And Work Setup
This is a full-time, remote position based in Greenwood, IN, or remote within Central or Eastern Time Zones for collaboration and core business hours. The anticipated salary range is USD $83,000–$89,300. The company emphasizes professional development, mentorship, work-life balance, and access to decision-makers, with a focus on making measurable impact in a collaborative environment.
