Role Summary

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will identify market needs, shape positioning, and lead cross-functional teams to bring new solutions to market. You will manage a portfolio across its lifecycle, from opportunity discovery and product strategy to launch and ongoing reinvention. The role requires in-office collaboration a minimum of three days per week and 20–30% travel to engage with customers and teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop expert-level understanding of market challenges, customer workflows, and competitive dynamics.
  • Translate insights into clear value propositions, positioning, and messaging for new and existing solutions.
  • Build and drive long-term product strategies; manage portfolio performance across the product lifecycle.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (product, engineering, sales, support) to align on requirements, readiness, and go-to-market plans.
  • Own commercialization and launch programs that drive adoption and revenue growth; craft presentations and narratives to engage stakeholders.
  • Champion product reinvention to adapt to changing market demands and technological advancements.

Ideal Profile

  • Proven record of success in product marketing or a closely related role, preferably with technical products or solutions.
  • Strong learning mindset and curiosity; able to absorb complex information and distill it for diverse audiences.
  • Technical aptitude to understand problems, evaluate solutions, and engage credibly with engineering and customers.
  • Collaborative approach with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and rallying organizational support.
  • Clear, persuasive communication and presentation skills to tell the product story effectively.

Compensation, Benefits, and Location

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 USD, plus performance-based bonus and profit-sharing opportunities. The role is based in Willowbrook, IL, with a minimum of three days per week in office and 20–30% travel.
