Role Summary
As Sr. Client Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for an established book of SLED and Federal contracts. You will build productive partnerships, pursue targeted expansion opportunities, negotiate favorable terms in alignment with compliance requirements, and collaborate across legal, finance, marketing, sales, operations, and supply chain. Success is measured by revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction. Travel up to 25% is expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deepen relationships across assigned SLED and Federal contracts, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities using market trends and competitive intelligence to expand MMSGS’s presence.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts that align with company objectives, partnering with legal and finance to ensure compliance.
- Promote MMSGS’s product and service portfolio; collaborate with marketing and sales on segment-specific collateral and campaigns.
- Monitor KPIs (revenue, market share, customer satisfaction) and apply data-driven insights to improve performance and achieve targets.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain for seamless execution of portfolio initiatives.
- Stay current on regulations and procurement trends in government healthcare; share insights and thought leadership internally.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience managing relationships within government contracts and public-sector accounts.
- Strong understanding of SLED cooperatives, GPOs, Federal agencies, and healthcare procurement processes.
- Demonstrated success in business development, contract negotiation, and achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and performance improvements.
- Leadership capabilities to influence cross-functional teams and drive results; willingness to travel up to 25%.
Compensation And Location
Base pay range: $97,800–$163,000 USD. Total rewards are influenced by performance, experience, skills, equity, market conditions, and geography, and may include additional incentives in accordance with applicable regulations. Location: Richmond, VA. Employment type: Not specified.
