Remote: Marketing Operations Manager — Marketo

Marrina Decisions is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager with deep Marketo expertise to build scalable programs, optimize lead processes, and connect technology to measurable growth. You’ll partner closely with marketing and technical teams, maintain data health, and translate insights into action. This is a full-time, remote role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Role Summary

You will leverage the full Marketo feature set to drive inbound demand and lead lifecycle performance, while ensuring tight integration with Salesforce (SFDC). The role includes data stewardship, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver data-driven recommendations and operational improvements. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or otherwise authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, optimize, and scale Marketo programs to support top-of-funnel and lifecycle initiatives; employ best practices across campaigns and automations.
  • Manage and enhance Salesforce (SFDC) integration, including lead routing, lead quality, lifecycle management, and scoring.
  • Partner with marketing and technical teams to define requirements, identify optimization opportunities, and deliver data-driven solutions aligned to business goals.
  • Maintain data health and quality across large datasets; establish processes that support reliable analysis and decision-making.
  • Monitor KPIs and dashboards; communicate insights and escalate when action is required by leadership or stakeholders.
  • Support email marketing campaigns and nurture programs; track progress, document outcomes, and iterate for performance.
  • Assess ad hoc analytics requests; recommend approaches, scope resources, and ensure findings are clearly visualized with actionable implications.
  • Champion best practices for Marketo and SFDC; collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization to manage expectations and deliver results.

Ideal Profile

  • 3–5 years of hands-on Marketo experience and 2–3 years with Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Proven program and project management capabilities; comfortable managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment; strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and passionate about marketing automation; committed to continuous learning and growth.
  • Strong reporting and dashboard skills; capable of producing executive-ready slides.
  • Experience with lead nurturing and lead scoring (preferred).

Compensation, Benefits, And Location

Compensation range: $80,000–$120,000 USD annually. Final compensation depends on factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and internal equity; offers typically fall within the lower to mid-point of the posted range. This role may also be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
