Role Summary

The National Account Manager will own and grow large, complex accounts in the commercial foodservice and equipment space. You will identify opportunities, develop client-centric solutions, and negotiate agreements that expand revenue and market share. The role requires comfort with technical product details, cross-functional collaboration, and leading business reviews. Preference is noted for candidates based in the Western U.S.; ability to travel up to 50% is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent MFT brands, equipment, parts, and services across the food and beverage portfolio.
  • Build and deepen relationships with franchisees and equipment suppliers to drive retention and growth.
  • Create account strategies that expand services, forecast pipeline, and mitigate risk while improving profitability and satisfaction.
  • Use data and insights to analyze revenue and performance; deliver regular business reviews and updates with customers.
  • Leverage value-added selling and effective negotiation to close business and increase market share.
  • Develop deep product knowledge and deliver technical guidance; represent MFT at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and support to execute initiatives and resolve issues to meet annual goals.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts and customer-specific processes to maintain trust and operational consistency.

Ideal Profile

  • 7–10+ years in progressive sales with national or multi-regional responsibility; foodservice equipment experience a plus.
  • Proven success managing large, complex key accounts in technical, industrial, or foodservice markets; QSR channel and/or McDonald’s experience preferred.
  • Direct-selling mindset with a track record of finding new business and meeting financial targets.
  • Analytical, data-driven approach to sales strategy, forecasting, and opportunity analysis.
  • Effective communicator and negotiator across stakeholders from operators to executives; strong relationship builder.
  • Highly organized self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and collaborates cross-functionally.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; ability to travel up to 50%.

Compensation, Benefits, And Location

Salary range: $93,600–$140,400 USD.
