Role Summary
As Senior Manager, Customer Marketing, you will define the overarching strategy and operating plan for customer marketing. You’ll activate onboarding, lifecycle, and community programs; scale references and storytelling; and collaborate across RevOps, product, and marketing to influence pipeline and retention. The role includes ownership of the customer community hub, communications for the annual user conference, and mentorship of junior team member(s).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the customer marketing strategy, plan, and KPIs to drive engagement, advocacy, and measurable pipeline impact.
- Define onboarding programs that accelerate early engagement and long-term value realization.
- Set vision for customer references and success stories; identify library gaps and execute a roadmap to close them.
- Cultivate customer relationships for case studies, peer storytelling, and speaker opportunities.
- Build and scale advocacy programs, including Friends of Manhattan Associates, Women in Supply Chain, Customer Advisory Boards, User Groups, and executive gatherings.
- Own the customer community hub strategy; incorporate feedback and engagement data to evolve it into a central destination for connection, content, and collaboration.
- Oversee customer newsletter, community engagement, and lifecycle nurture content and cadence.
- Partner with RevOps to build segmentation and drive cross-sell motions through targeted campaigns.
- Lead customer communications for the annual user conference to increase participation and engagement.
- Provide thought leadership and mentorship to junior team member(s).
Ideal Profile
- 8+ years in customer or community marketing, ideally in supply chain or enterprise software.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record building customer-centric programs tied to business outcomes and pipeline from existing accounts.
- Executive presence with strong communication and storytelling skills; adept at stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strategic thinker who executes with rigor; analytical mindset connecting marketing impact to revenue and retention metrics.
- Proficient in Salesforce and marketing automation tools.
Compensation and Location
Location: Atlanta, GA. Employment type: Full-time. The expected salary range is USD $128,526–$166,715, commensurate with experience and role fit.
