Role Summary
As an Account Manager on the Technology team, you will service a designated book of business, act as a primary contact for client inquiries, and coordinate implementation and renewals with carriers. You’ll audit quotes and endorsements, maintain accurate exposure data, and support marketing, compliance communications, billing reconciliation, and client presentations. The role requires strong organization, stakeholder communication, and familiarity with brokerage workflows and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Service a defined book across marketing, claims, and administration.
- Respond to client inquiries and document issues, actions, and resolutions.
- Set up new lines of coverage, collect documentation, and review plan details with clients and carriers.
- Validate exposure information; review loss runs and client stratifications for accuracy.
- Request, track, and organize new and renewal quotes; coordinate with senior staff on negotiations.
- Audit quotes, binders, and endorsements; request changes and bind coverage under direction as needed.
- Process audits and prepare audit analyses; complete policy checks upon receipt.
- Maintain specifications, applications, and summaries to reflect in-year changes.
- Produce client-facing materials and compliance communications; support new business data gathering.
- Collaborate with producers and accounting on collections and billing discrepancies.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years of client services experience; brokerage/commercial insurance background preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong attention to detail.
- Understands industry trends and regulations; committed to continued insurance education as needed.
- Excellent organization and time management to meet deadlines across a heavy workload.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; maintains confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to travel by car and air as needed; legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation, Schedule, And Location
