Role Summary

As the Ecommerce Growth Lead, you will own strategy and outcomes for a portfolio of clients while guiding a specialized team. You’ll identify opportunities across the funnel, align plans to growth targets, and translate insights into focused, high-impact initiatives. Beyond strategy, you’ll act as a trusted partner—clarifying priorities, driving urgency and thoughtful decisions, and ensuring execution that compounds month over month. The ideal leader balances analytical rigor with clear communication and an ability to rally cross-functional stakeholders around shared goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client strategy across paid acquisition, retention, and on-site conversion to hit growth targets.
  • Bring insight and clear recommendations to client meetings and internal workstreams.
  • Track pacing against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets; flag risks early and propose solutions.
  • Communicate account performance with clarity, context, and next steps tied to business goals.
  • Set weekly objectives with your pod; align priorities and ensure accountable execution.
  • Conduct deep analyses to uncover drivers, anticipate challenges, and inform strategic tests.
  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients and teammates to enable sustained growth.
  • Stay ahead of platform changes, emerging formats, and best practices to maintain an edge.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years in ecommerce growth marketing with a track record scaling DTC brands.
  • Proven ability to build holistic strategies across organic and paid channels.
  • Hands-on management of $50K+ monthly paid social budgets (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Expertise with Shopify, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, and Klaviyo.
  • Strong email and SMS chops with a deep understanding of customer retention levers.
  • Comfort with analytics and workflow tools (Google Analytics, Data Studio/Supermetrics, Asana, Notion).
  • 1+ year managing a team or leading cross-functional initiatives; agency or client-facing experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and high EQ; able to translate data into clear decisions and priorities.
  • Strong prioritization and execution in fast-paced environments; comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
  • Thoughtful, calculated risk-taker who plans several steps ahead.

Compensation and Location

$110,000–$130,000 USD base salary plus bonus structure. Full-time, remote role. You’ll collaborate with a distributed team and own outcomes across a defined client portfolio.
