Digital Content Manager At Life Science Connect

Life Science Connect is hiring a full-time Digital Content Manager to produce, optimize, and promote client content across newsletters and web properties. This Erie, PA–based role supports marketing and sales enablement for a growing roster of life sciences clients.

Role Summary

As a Digital Content Manager (DCM), you will manage production and optimization of content for an assigned portfolio of clients and oversee the promotion of their content in regular and custom newsletters. You’ll collaborate with business development and editorial teams, serve as a day-to-day client contact, and ensure programs launch on time and run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Client Administration And Communications

  • Build and maintain relationships for Audience Access programs and related initiatives.
  • Assist business development with client onboarding, gathering company information and content.
  • Ensure Audience Access programs launch on schedule and operate without issues.
  • Explain production procedures and best practices to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Help identify accounts in need of new or varied content.

Content Posting, Optimization, And Campaign Support

  • Populate monthly email newsletters and manage Audience Access inclusions; coordinate deadlines and content with clients as needed.
  • Align content to themed sends by mapping items across the upcoming month.
  • Collaborate with editorial to identify timely, relevant editorial content to feature.
  • Support selection and scheduling for quarterly Sourcing Center newsletters and special editions.
  • Edit and optimize titles and summaries for formatting, spacing, and reader engagement across newsletters.
  • Create subject lines, preheaders, and newsletter titles for multiple newsletter types.
  • Write and optimize emails for lead nurturing or ABM; contribute web page intros and newsletter copy tied to content themes and portfolios.

Project Management And Reporting

  • Manage timelines, stakeholders, and reporting to keep programs on track and transparent.

Ideal Profile

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3–5 years in a content production or customer service role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong proofreading and copy editing.
  • 1–3 years with HTML; highly comfortable with web and social media tools (e.g., WordPress).
  • Basic understanding of Google search rankings and on-page best practices.
  • High attention to detail; able to work independently and within a small team.

Preferred:

  • Technical background in communications or life sciences.
  • SEO training and experience; knowledge of SEO copywriting fundamentals.
  • Experience writing original web copy for campaigns and landing pages.

Compensation, Benefits, And Location

Salary range: $55,000–$75,000 USD. Full-time. Based in Erie, PA, reporting to the local office.
