Role Summary

As a Growth Manager, B2B, you’ll act as a fractional CMO for a portfolio of clients—owning strategy, leading communications, and executing multi-channel paid media. You’ll design and optimize demand generation and ABM programs, align marketing with sales and data operations, and guide clients through stages of marketing maturity to improve pipeline quality, revenue, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management & Strategy: Lead weekly/bi-weekly calls and async updates; run performance reviews and roadmaps; set measurable goals; manage renewals and identify data-backed upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Paid Media: Plan, build, and optimize campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, Microsoft, YouTube, and Meta; manage budgets, pacing, and forecasts; stay current on platform trends and tools.
  • Data & Reporting: Tie channel performance to KPIs (CPL, pipeline value, SQL conversion rates, CAC, ARR impact); diagnose underperformance; troubleshoot lead tracking and multi-touch attribution with CRM/marketing automation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent client needs to CRO, Performance Creative, Email, Data Ops, and SEO; coordinate tasks in Asana; drive cohesive, full-funnel improvements.
  • Thought Leadership: Partner with the internal marketing team to develop B2B-focused content (especially on LinkedIn) and participate in industry communities, webinars, and events.

Ideal Profile

  • 3–5 years managing B2B paid search and paid social (agency or high-growth SaaS/enterprise); at least 2–3 years hands-on B2B demand gen with measurable results.
  • Mastery of LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and Microsoft Ads; bonus: programmatic, ABM platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase), and intent data tools.
  • Strong client-facing presence: lead strategy conversations, present insights, and influence executive stakeholders with clear narratives grounded in data.
  • Business acumen across complex B2B cycles—connecting marketing to pipeline, revenue, and customer lifetime value.
  • Fluency with GA4, Salesforce/HubSpot/Marketo, and multi-touch attribution; confident troubleshooting tracking and integrations.
  • Comfort managing multiple accounts and priorities; rigorous about process, detail, and follow-through; strong analytical and storytelling skills.
  • Base understanding of CRO, SEO, creative strategy, and marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM tracking (Salesforce).

Compensation, Location & Work Setup

  • $72,000–$85,000 USD per year (remote, United States).
  • Remote role with optional hybrid work from offices in Raleigh, NC or Costa Mesa, CA.
