Role Summary

Reporting into the property’s marketing leadership, the Marketing Consultant will analyze and optimize direct marketing, elevate hotel marketing performance, and align cross-functional teams around growth priorities. The consultant will leverage CRM, analytics, and the OPTX program to drive segmentation, reinvestment, and player development outcomes while helping plan strategic calendars, special events, and supporting the rebranding to the Resort at Summerlin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize direct mail programs, including inner/middle offers and drive-and-fly offers.
  • Review segmentation and reinvestment rates by tier; recommend changes based on the competitive set.
  • Assess six months of historical performance and propose testing strategies to improve results.
  • Strengthen hotel marketing to increase visits and occupancy from the casino database, applying industry best practices to book additional room nights.
  • Work with marketing and player development teams to fully optimize the OPTX program.
  • Align player development tasks and incentives within OPTX for measurable impact.
  • Create six-month strategic calendars for player growth across segments (1,000+ play, high-end, and cost-efficient lower segments).
  • Build a special events calendar for the next six months to drive visitation and loyalty.
  • Support the property rebranding to the Resort at Summerlin with clear messaging and coordinated execution.
  • Evaluate current marketing team performance and recommend improvements to workflows and outcomes.

Ideal Profile

  • Experience in casino or hospitality marketing; strong understanding of Las Vegas market dynamics and customer behavior.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, CRM, analytics tools, and creative direction/content development.
  • Collaborative approach across casino operations, food & beverage, HR, events, and player development teams.
  • Minimum age 21; five years of marketing management experience (hospitality/service/local gaming preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or equivalent experience (required).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; organized, detail-oriented, and strong written/verbal communication.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role operates across property locations, including casino and outdoor areas, with varying noise, temperature, illumination, and air quality. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

  • Casino environment can be loud; smoking may be present on the gaming floor.
  • Requires prolonged standing/walking, bending, reaching, and eye/hand coordination.
  • Use of standard office equipment and basic math; ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.

Compensation & Location

Location: Las Vegas, NV. Employment Type: Temporary. Compensation Range: USD $43,595–$51,566. Final pay will align with company policies and role requirements.
