Director of Product Management, Safety Signage — Justrite (Brooksville, FL)

Justrite Safety Group is hiring a Director of Product Management to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle of industrial safety signage within its AccuformNMC business. This full-time role reports to the VP/GM and owns the roadmap, new product introduction, and cross-functional execution to meet market, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Role Summary

The Director of Product Management will own the safety signage portfolio from concept through commercialization. You will define and execute the product strategy, build business cases for new programs, drive pricing and SKU optimization, and partner closely with Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Compliance to bring products to market on time and within budget. A strong command of OSHA, ANSI, ISO, and related standards is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the product vision and roadmap for safety signage across distribution, end-user, and eCommerce channels.
• Lead market research and voice-of-customer programs to identify opportunities and define requirements for new products and enhancements.
• Manage full product lifecycle: project plans, sourcing, NPI milestones and tollgates, profitability, and end-of-life decisions.
• Optimize the portfolio through SKU rationalization, category line reviews, and cross-sell strategies with Sales.
• Create differentiated value propositions for key categories and verticals; build business cases to support investment.
• Set pricing strategies and partner with Marketing on packaging, positioning, and commercialization plans.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Compliance to ensure timely, cost-effective launches and support key customer meetings or events as needed.
• Ensure products meet OSHA, ANSI, ISO, NFPA, and related standards; monitor regulatory changes and translate them into product roadmaps.
• Lead and develop a team of individual contributors; foster a performance-oriented, accountable culture aligned to Justrite’s values.
• Set budgets, goals, and timelines for NPD initiatives; track outcomes and revenue impact.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years in product management, including 3–5 years in a leadership role; experience in safety signage, labeling, or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, ISO, and related compliance requirements for safety products.
• Proven record launching new products, managing P&L, and driving revenue growth; ERP/PLM and analytics tools experience preferred.
• Customer-centric mindset, strategic and analytical decision-making, and strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Compensation, Benefits, and Location

• Location: Brooksville, FL; Employment Type: Full-time; Reports to VP/GM.
• Base salary range: $130,000–$155,000 USD; actual pay varies by factors such as location, experience, and performance.
• Eligible for an annual incentive plan tied to business and financial targets.
